Allegations:
Robinson was at a club with a group of friends when he heard that one of his female friends was being arrested outside the club. The friend asked Robinson if he could go to the police station and get more information on the arrest, which he did. Robinson spoke with a female officer at the station before the arresting officer, Officer Young, approached him. Robinson told Young that he was a Maywood police officer and was checking on the arrest on behalf of his friend. Young began walking away from Robinson. Robinson decided to leave when he sensed Young was getting angry. Security cameras inside the station captured Young shouting in Robinson's face, taking his glasses off, and shoving him. The female officer attempted to restrain Young, but Young took Robinson to the ground and threatened him with his stun gun. Young took Robinson into custody and charged him with battery to a peace officer. Robinson lost his job as a police officer and was cleared of the charges about three months later.
