Allegations:
Baines was outside his house in the East Garfield Park neighborhood when Officers Garcia and Pronek pulled up in a squad car and told him not to move and to raise his hands. Although Baines was not breaking any laws, he complied. At the same time, three individuals in a nearby car ran off. The officers found a gun near the car and arrested Baines. Baines was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and criminal trespass to a vehicle, and spent six months in jail until he was found not guilty.
