Allegations:
Jones was driving his car around 9:30 p.m. when he reached a police roadside checkpoint. Jones stopped his car, and during the course of the stop, Officer Visor arrested Jones on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana. Jones was not under the influence. Without a warrant, Visor searched Jones and his car without finding any contraband. While Visor took Jones to the police station, Jones asked to be taken to a hospital to take a drug test. Visor refused, and Jones was released from custody the following day. Jones immediately went to the hospital for a drug test, which revealed that Jones had no illegal drugs in his system. As a result of the incident, Jones' car was towed and he had to pay to get it back. Jones had also been working as an Uber driver, and was forced to stop work due to his arrest. The DUI charge was dropped six months later.
