Allegations:
Haitham had purchased Legos for his son at a Target. He believed the set was missing some pieces and returned to the store, where a customer service representative told Haitham he could exchange the Legos. Since the set Haitham previously bought was out of stock, Haitham asked to exchange the Legos for a set of equal or lesser value. The customer service representative called the store manager to assist, and the manager asked Haitham for the receipt from his original purchase. Unable to find the receipt, Haitham left the store and returned a few moments later after finding the receipt in his pocket. Haitham asked to speak with the manager, who called the police and asked Haitham to leave the store. Officer Lindahl responded to the call, arrested Haitham for disorderly conduct and trespassing and brought Haitham to a police station. Once there, Lindahl told Haitham he hoped Haitham would sue him so he could get some overtime. Five months later, the charges against Haitham were dropped.
