Allegations:

Casimir and his wife were walking towards a 7-Eleven at Belmont and Racine avenues when Detectives Philbin and Romanski approached them. Romanski asked to see their identification without any justification and ran Casimir's name. During the search, Casimir's name turned up in an investigative alert, which officers claimed was an outstanding arrest warrant. He was taken to a police station and held for three hours, then transferred to another station where he was photographed and his fingerprints were collected. He was held overnight. Casimir was released the next day without charges.
