Allegations:
On February 17, 2007, Wiek was inside his home when Officers Keane, Reyes and Hajdu entered without a search warrant and without permission. He was placed under arrest and taken to the police station. Officers held him overnight in order to build a case against him and to use him for a line up the following morning. A City of Chicago policy allowed officers to hold arrestees overnight to be exhibited in line-ups. The following day, Wiek was part of a line-up and was set-up to be identified by a victim of a crime. As a result, he was charged with a criminal offense. He remained in custody until May of 2008 when he was found not guilty.
