Allegations:
Condon was a resident at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in the West Loop when officials at the center requested that Condon report to the security office. Officers Lindahl and Grimm met him there, detained him, held him in a headlock and beat and battered him on the head and body. The officers took him to a police station for processing and to lockup at another police station. In lockup, Condon was handcuffed to a wall as Lindahl, Grimm and other officers beat and battered him and verbally provoked him. He was taken to the hospital, where he was examined and treated for his injuries. While Condon was at the hospital, agents with the Police Department's Internal Affairs interviewed him about the assault against him. He was charged with two counts of felony assault and one count of resisting arrest. Eventually, Condon was acquitted at trial.
