Allegations:
Pizarro was in his apartment with his girlfriend, his family, and a couple of friends when he noticed a police officer in front of his building. Pizarro went to the window to see what was happening and the officer looked up at him and smiled. Officers then poured into the apartment and used a Taser on Pizarro multiple times on his chest and arms until he briefly blacked out. Pizarro's mother attempted to stand and check on him and an officer kicked her in the head. She tried to look up and see the officer's face but another officer called her a “little bitch” and told her, “You keep your face to the right.” One of the officers then shot Pizarro in the hand. When Pizarro's frightened dog tried to leave the room other officers shot it to death. The officers claimed to have found drugs in the apartment and arrested most members of the family. Pizarro was transported to a hospital for treatment. Afterward, he was taken to the police station, where officers attempted to force a confession out of him. They also questioned his mother and younger sister. The police threatened to take away custody of Pizarro's younger sister from his mother if Pizarro did not tell them where the drugs were. Pizarro's case was settled almost four years later.
