Allegations:
Anthony and Nelson Jackson were at home when Officer Chism and another officer pulled up in a squad car with the Jacksons' 15-year-old brother, who was in custody on a curfew violation. The officers walked to the front of the home and Chism told Anthony, "Get your momma." Anthony called his mother on the cellphone; she was on the second floor of the home and didn't answer. Chism said, "Go get your damn momma." Anthony said "OK, but you don't need to talk like that" and began to go upstairs to get her. Chism yelled, "I'm a gangster. Don't let this s**t fool you" as Anthony headed up the stairs. Chism entered the home without legal justification, grabbed Anthony and threw him into a wall. More than a dozen officers, who were responding to an unrelated matter nearby, then stormed the home. Once inside, one of the officers, Delgado, was told by Chism to "tase" Anthony. Delgado fired his Taser at Anthony's abdomen. Anthony and Nelson were taken to a police station and charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and other charges. The charges were later dismissed. Because of his arrest, Anthony Jackson lost a full athletic college scholarship.
