Williams was driving in West Humboldt Park when he was pulled over by officers at gun point. He was questioned about gangs and shootings in the neighborhood, handcuffed and arrested. The officers proceeded to search Williams and the car he was driving without presenting a warrant and without permission. Williams was charged with possession of a gun and incarcerated. The car and its contents were impounded. All of Williams' personal property was taken and kept as evidence. He was not able to regain this property or his car. He was found not guilty.
